Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MailboxTemp ("the Service"), available at mailboxtemp.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MailboxTemp provides free, temporary, receive-only email inboxes that expire automatically. Inboxes and their contents are deleted when they expire. The Service is provided for lawful purposes such as protecting your privacy, avoiding spam, receiving one-time verification codes, and testing.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or facilitate illegal activity.
• Harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or abuse protections, or disrupt the Service.
• Register for, or gain access to, accounts or services in violation of those services' own terms.
• Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

3. No guaranteed delivery or storage

The Service is best-effort. Inboxes are temporary and may expire or be purged at any time. We do not guarantee that any message will be received, retained, or delivered, and you should never rely on a disposable inbox for important, sensitive, or long-term communications.

4. Receive-only

MailboxTemp cannot send email. Inboxes only accept incoming messages.

5. Accounts and Pro subscriptions

Some features require a paid Pro account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time through the billing portal, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Advertising

The free Service is supported by advertising. By using the free Service you agree that ads may be displayed. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and cookies work.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by MailboxTemp and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailboxTemp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms or abuses the Service, at our discretion and without notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
